About Eric

Eric Maluk, an expert in mortgage lending, is a Branch Manager at Semper Home Loans. Prior to joining Semper, Eric was a Director/ Branch Manager of Home Point Financial, he opened A-Plus Mortgage LLC, and served as a manager for First NLC Financial where he honed his skills in the mortgage lending field. Eric grew up in Coventry RI and currently resides there with his wife and daughter. Eric is actively involved in supporting children’s sports, and sponsors local athletics ranging from youth racing to youth football. Eric is also involved in many charity fundraisers including raising money for the Children’s Wish Foundation of RI, The Make a Wish foundation and The Rhode Island Chapter of Pink Heals.

Our Process

Application Submitted

Application Submitted: Once your application is complete, you will receive a confirmation notifying you of your approval status. This will include information pertinent to your loan: amount, credit score, down payment, etc. Your Loan Officer’s contact information will also be included.

Submitted to Processing

Submitted to Processing: At this point, you have found your home and submitted all your financial information. We will verify all the information you’ve provided and ensure all needed documentation is in place to move the loan to underwriting. At this stage, you will receive an estimated timeline until closing.

Submitted to Underwriting

Submitted to Underwriting: After processing verifies all the information is in order, underwriting will complete a final review of all documents to identify any conditions that need to be resolved before the loan is approved.

Processing

Processing: Your loan will be reviewed by our processing department. At this stage, we organize and prepare the loan for approval.

Conditional Approval

Conditional Approval: Underwriting has approved your loan, contingent on conditions being met. Once the conditions are met underwriting will complete a final review of your loan and make an approval determination.

Cleared to Close

Cleared to Close: Underwriting has completed the final review of your loan documents and approved your application for closing. We will contact you with the details for your closing, including the location and all necessary documents to bring.
